Ms. Meredith DeGreef

Meet Ms. Meredith!! She will be joining the Fox Den Team with Ms. Alli this year.

Ms. Meredith grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Italian and immediately joined the US Army, where she became an Arabic translator. During her service, she met and married her husband, a Utah native.

When they became parents, they researched educational approaches and fell in love with the Montessori method for its hands-on learning, which offers students a tangible, exploratory experience.

This led Ms. Meredith to obtain her Montessori credential and become a Montessori guide. In keeping with the Montessori ideal of lifelong learning, she recently completed a Master's of Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. She joins Thriving Day Academy with a vision of engaging future generations in self-directed, passionate learning that helps them discover their unique talents and purpose.

In her downtime, Ms. Meredith enjoys gardening, rock climbing with her family, watching foreign films, and hiking Utah’s beautiful trails.
