Ms. Kayla Givens

Ms. Kayla was born and raised in beautiful Heber City, Utah. After high school, she began working with children, and over the past 13 years she has developed a deep love for guiding and supporting young learners. This year marks her 8th year in education and her 5th year at Thriving Day Academy, where she has become a valued and joyful part of the community.

Kayla and her husband, who serves as a firefighter, are raising their two daughters and a son in Santaquin. She treasures the balance between nurturing her own family and being part of the growth and learning of the children at TDA.

In the classroom, Ms. Kayla brings warmth, patience, and creativity to her teaching. She is passionate about helping children grow into confident, capable learners who take pride in their independence.

Outside of school, Kayla enjoys singing and playing guitar, spending time with her family, and creating a home filled with music, laughter, and love.
