Ms. Amanda Deaderick
Amanda was born and raised in Park City, Utah.
She attended the University of Utah, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2012. In 2014, Amanda moved to Truckee, California, to help her sister, Ms. Alicia, as she welcomed her first son. During her time in Truckee, Amanda met her husband, Javier, and together they decided to start a family of their own.
They returned to Utah in 2017, where they welcomed their oldest daughter, Aria. In 2019, their son, Theo, was born, completing their family. With a lifelong background in hospitality and more than a decade of restaurant management experience, Amanda has built her career around serving others.
In recent years, she expanded that passion by earning her real estate license, allowing her to help individuals and families find the perfect place to call home, whether it's a temporary residence or their forever home.
In 2025, Amanda joined Thriving Day Academy as a substitute teacher while one of the co-teachers was on maternity leave. She quickly discovered a love for working with children and building meaningful relationships with families.
Amanda is excited to return to Thriving Day Academy this school year as Ms. Katie's Assistant Teacher in the Honeybees classroom, where she looks forward to creating a fun, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing with her children, golfing with her husband, and attending social events throughout the Heber Valley community.
